If I had a nickel for every time I said I was going to be better at blogging..
ANYWAY.
Earlier this month I decided it might help me to have a little calendar to help me figure out what to write about. It's obviously going really well.
Sundays are monthly posts... and today's is FAVORITE THINGS. (PS, basically no one reads my blog, which means I am in no way being compensated for endorsing these things. HA. I blog for me and not for money or followers. Just thought I'd clarify that so you know these are actually my favorite things.)
I also want to preface these monthly posts with this: As I've been going through all my stuff and decluttering using the konmari method, I've shifted from quantity to quality. I'd rather have less things that I love than lots of things I like. So, some of my favorites are not always the cheapest things. But sometimes they are, and I'm also all about the bargains, so I'll share that stuff sometimes too.
So, here we go, a few of my favorites as of late...
WET BRUSH
HOW have I never heard of these until now? If you've got a tender head like I do, this is a must have. You can use it to brush your hair wet or dry. It just glides right through tangles. And they are relatively cheap, too.
ANTHROPOLOGIE CANDLES
Again, WHERE HAVE THESE BEEN ALL MY LIFE? I got one as a gift and now I'm HOOKED. Guys. These candles make your whole house smell pretty much like heaven. They go on sale often, making them pretty reasonably priced.
HARRY POTTER
Does this even need an explanation? I probably need to do a separate post about my Harry Potter journey, but I'm reading them for the first time. AND I GET IT. I'm obsessed. J.K. Rowling is brilliant. She GETS life. If you have only seen the movies, you MUST read all of the books. I require it.
BARGAINFINDS
So this is a really random instagram account put together by a couple of girls down in Arizona who go to Last Chance (all the Nordstrom leftovers), buy quality stuff that have been returned, and sell it on instagram for way cheaper than you can get it anywhere. I used to be a cheap shoes kind of girl. Not so much anymore. I've LOVED everything I've bought through them.
THANK ME LATER EYE PRIMER
I finally decided to try ipsy, and this is the only thing that's come so far that I have been totally obsessed with. My eyeshadow lasts perfectly all day long with this stuff. Still on the hunt for products that will make my foundation stay all day... MAC primer and Urban Decay setting spray aren't quite doing the trick.
